The Weaker Vessel

So, I sit in my shame
Wretched object of scorn
Bested by my fair dame

I bemoan with loud pen
In our clash for the CROWN
She was resolved to win

Manliness crushed by strife
High-heeled headline tabloid:
HUSBAND BANISHED BY WIFE

Likewise ye husbands, dwel with them according to knowledge, giuing houour vnto the wife as vnto the weaker vessel, and as being heires together of the grace of life, that your prayers be not hindered.
                  1 Peter 3:7 (Holy Bible 1611)

*Notes
-I believe this poem to be my masterpiece in terms of technique. It was the most powerful structure I could invent to express this idea. Written in triplet, it is an Ironic Poem, in that dictum has been flipped on its head. I say too much. It is my perfect poem, and in that I am satisfied. I doubt I will ever exceed it.
-Amber used colors in this drawing to make Henri Matisse take notice. Colors appropriate to the battle between the two parties. One party victorious. One party vanquished. Perhaps it was the hammer that tipped the scales. Or perhaps not. Colors tell the tale, too.
